5 Yummy Game Day Snacks

Folks, we have saved the best for last. The cream of the crop, the best of the best, the ultimate football game day snack…

Bacon Brown Sugar Smokies

This snack is absolutely delicious.  I’m actually convinced it won us the Super Bowl last year. We’re big Eagles fans and I made these every time they played, and boom. Super Bowl 52 champs! I’d say there is a correlation, ha!

Okay, let’s get serious, This really is one of the best and easiest game day snacks you’ll make or taste. Your hands may get a little greasy while you’re making it, but it’s all worth it, my friends.

one package of beef smokies (or other mini hotdogs)
1 pound of bacon
2 cups of brown sugar

1. Pre -heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cut bacon in half. Wrap each strip around a little smokie sausage.
3. Roll the bacon wrapped sausage in the brown sugar. Pack brown sugar onto the ends of each smokie.
4. Cover your pan in foil (to avoid a mess).
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes (or until bacon is crispy and the brown sugar is bubbling).
Note : These will be HOT when you take them out so let them cool before serving.
